‘You Bit The Finger That Fed You’ – Hilda Dokubo Drags Mercy Chinwo over Fallout with Ex-Label Boss, Eezee Tee

Hilda Dokubo Criticizes Mercy Chinwo for Fallout with Ex-Label Founder, Eezee Tee

Hilda Dokubo, an actress, has criticized Mercy Chinwo for her dispute with Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, the founder of the music company EeZee Conceptz.

Chinwo joined the label in 2017 after winning the second season of Nigerian Idol.

Reports emerged in September 2022 stating that Chinwo had left EeZee Conceptz following a disagreement over finances.

On Tuesday, Dokubo shared a screenshot on Instagram of Chinwo’s birthday message to EeZee Tee from 2018.

In the message, Chinwo referred to her former label boss as a “blessing to our generation” and thanked him for being a “father, mentor, and manager”.

Dokubo suggested in the caption that the ‘Excess Love’ singer had “bitten the hand that fed her”.

She stated that people’s true characters often emerge after they have gained power and fame.

“You might think that you know someone until you give them the opportunity to earn power, fame, and fortune,” she said.

“All who bite the hand that feeds them must have blood in their meal.”

In the comment section of the post, Dokubo described the situation between Chinwo and EeZee Tee as “nonsense that has been going on for over a year”.

She added, “the more I am silent, the more lies are spread”.

Dr. Roy David, Chinwo’s music producer, has previously accused EeZee Tee of mistreatment, alleging that the record label president withheld his financial benefits after producing ‘Excess Love’ and other hit tracks by the singer.
