Why is Everybody Talking About the COZA 7 Days of Glory 2024? Find Out!

Here’s Why Everyone Is Talking About COZA’s 7 Days of Glory 2024

The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), a church that started in Ilorin in 1999 with a few members, has grown to become one of the most impactful and culture-changing churches in the world. Now headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, with 10 branches in the federal capital and additional churches in cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Dubai, Birmingham, and Manchester, COZA has touched countless lives across the globe. With a combined membership of tens of thousands in all its campuses and eChurch globally, COZA brings together people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and professions.

COZA has been at the forefront of new trends in the global Christian community. Celebrating Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo’s birthday, Wale Jana highlighted some of the innovations in Nigerian churches pioneered by Rev. Biodun and COZA. In his post on June 21, 2023, Wale Jana wrote:

“Case Study: @cozaglobal I started a series on Monday and it’s a case study of many organizations and why they are so successful. Today I am looking at @cozaglobal and I am NOT looking at it as a church, I am looking at the ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE! COZA changed the church experience forever! They were the first church in Africa and many parts of the world to have LED screens that all churches now use, the first to install high-quality stage lights and a world-class sound system. Many churches have installed ACs in the past, but COZA was the first to have a private auditorium with a chilling AC system. Unlike most churches, you will freeze rather than sweat in COZA.

COZA was the inspiration behind churches moving from plastic chairs to very comfortable chairs. They didn’t stop there; they were the first church to move from air fresheners to a proper scent solution. COZA was the first to have an online church in Nigeria as far back as 2010, ten years before online church became a thing. So, when you step into the church, it’s almost like stepping into a 4,000-capacity cinema/event center. Comfort and quality guaranteed.

COZA is the inspiration behind the 21st-century church; every church in Nigeria and Africa now looks like COZA! COZA has mastered security down to the smallest details. It’s almost impossible to steal in COZA because the cameras are so high-tech that they can trace your every movement. It is also located in the most luxurious part of Abuja; Gusape is the equivalent of Banana Island in Lagos.

COZA has a childcare facility that is second to none. You can leave your children with peace of mind, knowing they are getting the very best of care and attention. If I were to build an event center today, I would simply replicate COZA; you will make your money guaranteed!”

In the comments section of that post, Seye Oyeleye wrote: “My first ever service at COZA was thanks to Wale, who invited me. I remember coming in during worship and thinking a CD was being played. I couldn’t imagine a live choir sounding so digitally clean on stage. Dunsin Oyekan was conducting the ‘show’ that lovely Sunday morning in October 2010 at the then Thisday Dome. For someone who was part of an excellent choir in the UK for many years, that performance by Avalanche was mind-blowing. From that day, COZA became my home church until I left Abuja three years later. I continue to celebrate the excellence of Pastor BF; he took church to another stratosphere coupled with his grounding in the word.”

COZA has also been called the capital of excellence by many, including Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries, due to Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo’s core values of EXCELLENCE & SPIRITUALITY.

However, these aren’t the main reasons everyone is talking about the COZA 7 Days of Glory 2024. Let’s dive into why this event is so highly anticipated.

1. COZA’s Mission: Raising a TAKEOVER GENERATION

COZA is committed to raising believers who will take over in every sphere, system, and sector, spearheading new frontiers in spirituality and excellence while spreading prosperity. Understanding this mission explains why COZA members are different and why the church is designed the way it is.

2. 7 Days of Glory: The Second Biggest Event in COZA

Some of the big events in COZA are 12 DG, Founders Day celebration, and Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo’s birthday outreach. While 12 Days of Glory is a twelve-day fasting and prayer program, with each day representing a month in the year as believers prepare for the new year through fasting and prayers with the word and worship, 7 DG, on the other hand, is seven days of fasting and prayers to refresh and connect more with God. It involves praying, fasting, worshipping, soaking in the word, and receiving instructions from the Holy Spirit. It features a lineup of spirit-filled guest ministers from COZA City Music and beyond.

3. COZA Events Shut Down Abuja

Every time COZA hosts a special program, the city of Abuja is impacted significantly. For example, the anniversary celebration in February with Bishop David Oyedepo drew massive attention. This post would be too long if I included the online stats, screenshots, and other user-generated content from the event. From the announcement to the pre-anniversary worship sessions, Bishop’s arrival, his prayers for Rev Biodun and his wife, Modele Fatoyinbo, and COZA, to his sermon, and finally the post-event content and impacts of the service—up until today, bloggers, YouTubers, and content creators are still discussing it. They continue to talk about how PB honors fathers, how Bishop was welcomed by COZA, the protocols, the excellence, and everything in between. Those who attended are still sharing testimonies.

4. Reaching the Unchurched

COZA’s vision is to make disciples of all nations, reaching the unchurched who will re-establish God’s kingdom on earth and inform the nations adequately. COZA focuses more on those who are not Christians and who do not even like church. For instance, I was not invited by anyone to COZA. While scrolling through my Instagram feed in 2018, I clicked on the explore page and saw Rev Biodun’s video. He did not look like a pastor and didn’t speak like the regular pastors I was used to. I not only watched the message but also visited his page and later went to his YouTube channel for more. After that, I started looking for his church. I commented on the COZA Port Harcourt page, and someone replied, giving me the address and directions to the church. Before that time, I had not attended church for six months. Today, I’m not only serving in church but also creating platforms and using my resources to spread the gospel. PB is passionate about soul-winning and reaching out to those who don’t like church. Rev Biodun lives and breathes excellence and spirituality, and he believes being a Christian is not an excuse to be mediocre or boring. This explains the music, sound, lights, protocols, design, and everything in COZA. Everything screams excellence and spirituality.

5. The Word

Rev Biodun is a worded pastor, a great teacher of the word who lives the faith life himself. He teaches the word and encourages the members to know the word for themselves for faith cometh by hearing and doing the word and the just shall live by faith. Attending 7 DG 2024 is going to hear the undiluted word of God that will boost your faith and transform your life.

6. Music: Praise & Worship Sessions

Music is a significant part of COZA’s ministry. If you are following PB or any of their church pages, chances are you have come across PB’s Worship, a content series focusing on PB worship sessions. And with COZA City Music, excellence worship is a culture at COZA. This year’s 7 DG features anointed music ministers like Great Gift, Eben, Empraiz, Deborah Ayayi, Esther Ohi, Jomata Isaiah, Edward, Cwhyte sunshine, Daniel Monday, Winner. Nobody wants to miss it.

7. Testimonies

7 DG is known for its powerful testimonies, including healings, restorations, and miracles. Many are expectant, believing that this year’s event will bring an outpouring of testimonies.

8. Massive Publicity

Publicity for COZA programs is always maaaad. I saw photos of billboards in Ilorin for 7 DG 2024 on the COZA Ilorin page and I was like, “Yessssss yessssss!”. In Abuja and other cities, billboards everywhere.

Different campuses are coming up with various creative content, and it’s just beautiful. Every worker is posting about it, and there are ads everywhere on social media. See this creative video by the Mararaba church to understand what I’m talking about.

From billboards to digital banners, Meta ads, blog posts, outreaches, and other creative content, the publicity is everywhere.

9. Ballistic Prayers

7 DG begins each day with an hour of intense prayer. These sessions, led by Mummy D, are highly anticipated and have a profound impact on participants’ prayer lives.

In closing, it may surprise you to know that people attend church for various reasons. While Some bloggers join online just to find material for their news content, others go just to socialize – whatever the reason, it’s valid. . Therefore, I may not be able to cover all the reasons why 7 DG is trending. However, people are talking about the music ministers and the worship sessions they are looking forward to, the ballistic prayers with Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo, the word, miracles, the publicity, the excellence in COZA and more. The good news is that this program is free and everyone is invited. Note: This is entirely my opinion and not from the church.
