The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has announced the appointment of Pastor Belemina Obunge as the Continental Overseer of Continent 11, which covers the North Central States of Nigeria and eight African nations, with headquarters in Kaduna.
This landmark promotion is not only a great milestone in the RCCG but also a moment of pride for the Rivers family, where Pastor Obunge has long been a respected leader and mentor.
Until this appointment, Pastor Obunge had faithfully served in several strategic roles within the RCCG. He was National Youth Pastor, inspiring young people across the nation. He also served as State and Provincial Pastor for Rivers and Bayelsa States, Pastor in Charge of Region 5 (Rivers State), Director of the Central Missions Board, and Special Assistant to the General Overseer (on Special Duties). Under RCCG’s continental restructure, he was further designated as the Intercontinental Youth Pastor (I.Y.P.).
These roles have shaped his ministry and leadership, preparing him for the greater assignment of overseeing the work of RCCG across multiple states and nations.
Celebrating the announcement, Edisemi Okpokiti wrote:
