AKTC Announces New Transport Fares and Luggage Policy

The Akwa Ibom State Transport Company (AKTC) has released an important update regarding its transport services, including changes to luggage policies and the latest fare structure for major routes across Nigeria.

🚨 Important Notice on Luggage

Passengers are hereby informed that oversized luggage will no longer be accepted on AKTC buses. Travelers who wish to journey with large or extra luggage must now purchase an additional seat to accommodate it.

This policy, according to the management, is aimed at ensuring passenger comfort, safety, and better travel experiences across all AKTC routes.

  • Uyo – Ariaria: ₦3,100
  • Uyo – Abakaliki: ₦14,000
  • Uyo – Asaba: ₦13,000
  • Uyo – Onitsha (Hummer): ₦10,550
  • Uyo – Onitsha (Bus): ₦10,050
  • Uyo – Awka: ₦9,550
  • Uyo – Bayelsa: ₦8,000
  • Uyo – Enugu: ₦8,000
  • Uyo – Warri: ₦16,000
  • Uyo – Benin City: ₦16,500
