Bishop T D T.D. Jakes, the senior pastor of The Potter’s House penned a lovely note as he celebrates his daughter, Sarah Jakes Roberts who turned 36 years old today July 17, 2024.
The Potter’s House Bishop wrote, “Happiest of birthdays to my baby girl. I remember having to hold your head up as a newborn. The softest cooing sounds before you fell asleep and the sweetest cheeks that dimpled when you smiled. The first wobbly steps and the fuss you made if something wasn’t right.
My, how you have evolved! Trials and tribulations, setbacks and struggles, have formed you into something more than we could have hoped for!
I am so proud of the wife, mother, sister, daughter, and the stone-throwing giant killer you have become! As you catch your stride, it’s my knees that are starting to wobble! I thank God every day for the leaps and bounds you are making. But, even if you hadn’t, I would still love you!
Keep going strong! Happy birthday to you on this special day. I have learned as much as, if not more than, I taught raising you!
My love remains undaunted!”
